Frequently asked questions

Direct answers about detector usage, browser permissions, visible reading and the real limits of the service.

Updated: March 20, 2026

1. Do I need to install anything to use the detector?

No. The tool is designed to open in the browser and start with microphone permission, without installing an extra application or creating an account for the current version of the site.

2. What information does the screen show?

The interface prioritizes the detected note, the frequency and the visual response associated with the reading. The idea is that the user can correct pitch without having to interpret complex panels.

3. Can I use it in short sessions?

Yes. The flow is designed to enter quickly, enable the detector, test a note, observe the result and repeat without going through long setup steps.

4. What happens if I do not allow microphone access?

The detector cannot read input audio if the permission is blocked. In that case, you need to allow access from the browser and start the tool again.

5. Does it work the same on every device?

Not necessarily. The experience may vary depending on browser, microphone quality, permissions, the secure context of the site and the audio environment. It is best to test it on the real device you plan to use for practice.

6. Does the site store my recordings?

In the reviewed implementation of the site there is no built-in function to upload or store user recordings. The audio signal is used to calculate the detector reading during the active session.

7. Where can I find legal and privacy information?

The site keeps visible links to the privacy policy, cookies policy, terms, legal notice, help and FAQ, in addition to a contact page that centralizes site access and support.
