Updated: March 22, 2026

1. Controller and scope

This policy applies to the Nota Magica site, its informative and editorial pages and the musical note detector available on the web. The visible operator acts under the public brand or alias Nota Magica, with operational base in Remota and official contact channel at markccallo131@gmail.com.

2. Data that may be involved

  • Technical web request data such as IP address, browser, system, language, date and logs needed to deliver the page.
  • Information that the user voluntarily shares when following links or using the contact methods published on the site.
  • The microphone permission and audio signal captured during the session when the user activates the detector.
  • Google measurement and advertising data when the user authorizes analytics or advertising through the consent manager.

3. Microphone and audio use

  • The site only requests microphone access when the user presses the control to activate the detector.
  • The current implementation processes the audio signal during the browser session to calculate the note, frequency and visible reading shown on screen.
  • The current reviewed version of the site has not implemented a feature to upload, save or publish user audio recordings.

4. Purposes and basis of use

  • Serve the site pages correctly and keep the main tool operational.
  • Allow the use of the musical note detector inside the user's browser.
  • Respond to queries or requests that the user chooses to send.
  • Measure performance and improve content when the user authorizes analytics.
  • Allow Google advertising technology on eligible editorial pages when the user authorizes advertising.
  • Protect the technical stability of the service and comply with applicable legal obligations.

5. Providers and transfers

Hosting, delivery and Google providers related to measurement or advertising, such as Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense, may intervene whenever the user has granted the corresponding consent. These providers may process information in infrastructures located outside Peru according to their own terms, safeguards and international transfers.

6. Retention

Technical browsing data may be kept for as long as required by hosting operations, service security or applicable law. Information voluntarily submitted by the user is kept for as long as necessary to address that communication. The reading generated by the detector is calculated live and, in the current reviewed implementation, is not kept as the site's own audio file.

7. User rights

  • The user can allow or block microphone permission from the browser or from the device settings.
  • The user can also stop the detector at any time and close the page if they do not wish to continue using the tool.
  • The user can change cookie and measurement preferences from the visible footer link.
  • The user can request access, rectification, cancellation or opposition regarding voluntarily submitted data through markccallo131@gmail.com.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated when the site's operation, the way information is processed or the applicable framework changes. The current version will be the one published on this page with its update date.
